Prerequisite: BY INVITATION ONLY. This is a cohort model requiring submission by your ASM and Appropriate Administrator. By the end of this four half-day workshop series, participants will be able to: Describe the core responsibilities and role of a Lead; assess supervisory skills to determine areas of improvement; establish goals and set standards to raise employee performance; coach employees on performance; lead development discussions; diagnose the reasons for performance problems and partner with the appropriate administrator; personalize the approach used to motivate employees; take steps to increase employee engagement; use delegation to help employees develop confidence and expand skills; focus relationship building efforts; enhance communication skills; and take actions to foster and improve teamwork. (Bargaining Unit Leads, by invitation only)
