Details

In this workshop, participants will: examine diversity from multiple perspectives including: race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, and worldview; uncover best practices in recruitment, onboarding, and retention; analyze relevant higher education case studies where inclusive leadership is vital; practice using culturally sensitive and appropriate terminology; uncover personal implicit biases; and reflect on practices to mitigate bias.
