(Bargaining Unit Leads, by invitation only) By the end of this four half-day program workshop series, participants will be able to: Describe the core responsibilities and role of a Lead; assess their leadership skills to determine areas of improvement; establish goals and set standards that raise employee performance; coach employees on performance; lead development discussion; diagnose the reasons for performance problems and take appropriate steps to address them; personalize the approach you use to motivate employees; take steps to increase employee engagement; use delegation to help employees develop confidence and expand their skills; describe where you need to focus your relationship building efforts; promote communication by role-modeling three essential skills; and take actions to foster and improve teamwork.
